Being a woman in a long term relationship I can tell you that some of us know of an answer long before the question. My boyfriend I and I have both discussed marriage. We both want to get married in time, we want it but don;t want to rush into anything. I have even thought about proposing to him. But he knows my answer already, and when he asks I will say yes. It is just something I would love( to be his wife). So I think women say yes because they have thought of it before hand or it may just feel right. Keep in my some women do say no.

No that is not the reason why divorce rates have sky rocketed. The truth is that women have been thinking about what they would say if you proposed long before the idea to propose even entered the man's brain.

yes a lot of girls have been considering where they would like their relationship to go long before a guy ever pops the question.mI think more girls consider it then you reckon. But people have lots of different reasons why they want to get married. Those reasons are probably more at the root of the increase in the divorce rate. At least thats my opinion

Proposals are just a little dance that couples do or at least that's how it should be. Marriage should be discussed long before the romantic bore of a cliched proposal. Any couple who doesn't discuss it first, is a couple of complete morons.

Usually both parties have discussed this before the question is even formally popped. Heck, sometimes the girl even goes out with the guy to buy the ring….

Because the girl already knows if she wants to be married to him by the time he proposes.

Most people have thought about this way before the proposal, so they know the answer already.

Trust me, if they love you, they have been thinking and hoping about it for a long time. They don't need to think about it during, if that is what they want
