The creation of the earth is placed before that of the sun's. Not evolution but still scientifically impossible
I dont understand the second part of the question. What changed?
HEY Johnny
Evolution does not defy the 2nd Law of Thermo Dynamics. And even if it did, why dont you suppose the 2nd Law of Thermo Dynamics to be in error, or at least not perfect? hmmmm Dont forget we have a really hugh Star right next door to us, pumping out massive amounts of energy on a daily basis
EDIT 2
UMMM Johnny, lol Read Day three's events. Unless you are Jehovah Witness (which now I suspect) and I know what you guys suggest. its laughable. It doesnt say only the light of the sun appeared on that day
ps, i like this, actuall dialog of some sorts, its cool
EDIT 3
Oh come on Johnny, "Ask my third grade teacher', thats not like you is it, trying to hit below the belt. This is not kindergarden
You can attempt to use that arguement against a theory of an everlasting 'un changing' universe, but not evolution. Evolution is a fact buddy, Natural Selection is the best theory to describe that fact. Now, I aint no Charles Darwin, so you will need to do your own study, preferebly not from christian sources for a change, but I could probably teach your third grade teacher if your prepared to pay my air fare. please :)
(I am spekaing in my 'happy voice' not trying to be offensive in anyway, its all light communication from me)
peace
Do we really get violations from more than 2 or 3 edits???

Only the literal interpretation of the first chapters of Genesis are actually in dispute. There isn't anything the precludes evolution its just that someon decided that the Bible was supposed to be a literal telling of events instead a beautiful masterpiece of story-telling and poetry. The "nope, God went click" contingent cannot accept that the KJV is anything but a literal history and haven't enough education to understand evolution or how it could fit into the Bible.
Using logic, intelligence and faith it is easy to see that the ancient story-tellers would not have been able to understand the concept of billions of years since they had only their lifetime and the lifetime of the elders as a reference. They knew only small sections of land and didn't even have a global mindset. Their stories are beautiful and can be seen as true in a spiritual sense, God IS responsible for the creation, that doesn't mean he micromanaged it. We have learned that there was an Ice Age and there is a good chance that Noah was one of many wise men who saved one of several villages with his foresight and observation that the glacier was melting and flooding the area more and more every year. This story appears in a lot of cultures. Doesn't make it less God's providence that gave him foresight and intelligence, just makes it less magical.
I don't think that the authors of the Bible (who were working under God's influence) ever intended it to be taken so literally especially after hundreds of translations. After all, man is created both on the sixth day and on the eighth day (or maybe they were different men).
I'm not Christian, I was but am no longer, but that doesn't mean there isn't beauty and value in the stories of old from everywhere. Looking for conflict and failing to learn are crimes not just against each other and society but against our own gods and our faiths.

Evolution is a theory that has been shot full of so many holes that it is not worth considering. Primarily it violates the 2nd Law of Thermo Dynamics. It defies logic and math completely.. Disneyland had more scientific credibility in the story of "Pooh Bear"
(Winnie the Pooh) than the "Theory of Evolution"
I Cr 13;8a
EDIT: CJunk you need to read the chapter from the beginning:
Genesis 1;1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Please notice that Heaven comes before earth and that the sun is in Heaven. This is too simple, I can't believe you didn't see that.
EDIT: Clearly the Law of Entropy is contradicted by the Theory of Evolution. Just ask your 1st grade teacher about this.
EDIT: Glad you're enjoying yourself, this is my last EDIT here, I don't need the violation.
