Been to hospital and physio, all said it's a muscle and prescribed Cuprofen for the inflamation. However pain is still there 2nd week now. Could it be sth else instead of a muscle and what more can i do to treat it quickly? thanks....

I am assuming it is a muscle because they are what have spasms. The fastest relief is to have a couple of swigs of molasses (magnesium and potassium) to get it to calm down. Maintenance most people choose to eat a banana or two.
When you run your hand (palm open) down your thigh odds are you will find a spot (or more than one) that are tender but you otherwise would not have noticed. They are where the muscle has a knot called a trigger point. Seeing a massage therapist to help get them to go away is the fastest.
Understand that there is also referred pain that can come from the back and rump.

If the physio/Docs have prescribed ibuprofen (cuprofen) its really important to take it as prescribed, prob 3-4 times a day?
Anti-inflams have a much better effect when taken regularly. If nothing else they should keep the pain managed as well.
Also, if you sweat a lot in bed, it may be cramp from lack of salts. Try taking vitamin tablets that have magnesium & potassium in.

If it doesn't change at the end of the 2nd week go back to the docs. Give the anti-inflams a chance though.

I don't know what else it could be, but try using muscle rub, before you go to bed. Do some physio before you get out of the bed in the morning. You need magnesium along with your calcium and potassium to ease muscle spasm. Are you using heat to relax the muscle now? If you have access to a whirlpool, hot water therapy would help, even just a hot moist compress or soaking in a warm bath.

Sounds like the start of a Country & Western song. LOL. BUT seriously, best go to the docs, or hospital and get it checked out asap...
