Anybody know before I poison myself please? Gentlemen, ladies, anyone?

Thanks G.Beard but no sell by date, got no discretion, tastes heavenly but so might botulism.

I have kept it for over a year - I love it, but in small quantities - then I found it and ate it and I am still alive to tell the tale.

I believe it could last even longer because of the salt in the anchovies. Go ahead and eat it - sparingly.

I know what you mean about the date though - it is a packaging design fault, in my considered opinion. In order to open the pot you must either put up with flapping plastic around the middle which has the date on it, or surgical precision when opening so both halves of the plastic stay stuck to the pot, still legible.

Manufacturers please note!

I'd get rid when the little hairy things grow up to the lid! Grin!, but seriously, look at the sell by date, and use your discretion, does it taste good?
