What does the "H" in the "HBE" stand for? i know the "BE" it's "Borg El-Arab" but what's the "H"

It could be a specific meaning, it might not.

I go to an airport called CYKZ. The C means Canada. The Y, I think means something to do with the type of weather reporting facilities on site. The K and Z are mysteries to me.

I've talked to pilots and have been told that a lot of the codes aren't logical. They just help distinguish airports. Sometimes, as you pointed out, a part of the airport name or city is used in the code, but sometimes not at all.

the first letter is the region of the world the airport is in. It's an assigned letter given by ICAO or IATA.
