Because the brain is trying to think of two things at the same time. Impossible to do. If you start one action and and then proceed with the other you may find it easier because the first action is in your memory.

i cant do it. Im not a multitasker. I think my brain just isn't capable of moving two body parts in different directions-its comfused easily.
