Yes. But looks aren't everything. If they're not beautiful/gorgeous on the inside...it'll never be worth the trouble. If you get the balls, you'll find that a lot of the "gorgeous" women do not get asked out very much and may very well be single and available for the simple reason that no one has the guts to ask them out.
Man up and ask her out. The worst that can happen is that she says no. Big deal.
