I've asked a few questions in R&S Q&A and had various christians accuse me of being like Satan, or say that I shall go to hell, but at the end of their response, they say "God Bless". What is the point of God's blessing if they believe I am going to hell?

A lot of people here have said wonderful things, and a few have reenforced what you are saying.

If they truly believe you are going to Hell, they should encourage you to repent. SHOULD. But a lot of people somehow lack the humility to be able to (in their minds) "step down" to help you. And if you don't want their help... they'll pray for you.

Sometimes I think that the ones that are like Satan are the ones who call others Satan, and encourage other people to do the same.

Don't worry, they're just insecure or self-righteous, and you should not be concerning yourself with them. Even (their beloved) Jesus was accused of being a "false prophet" and was tested by the scribes and Pharisees. In fact, this type of person was what Jesus was working against.

"Hypocritically self-righteous."
They say:
"I'm judging and condemning you... but God is blessing you." That's a good thing, but we all doubt that's what they mean. I hate popularised God blessing. It loses all meaning.

Again, I preach to the Christians, lay off from your judgements. You are commanded to share the Good News when prompted by the spirit. You are not to force your message on others. If you are spreading the Good News properly, you will be doing it with love, not judgement.

Using scare tactics to convert people is stupid. No one wants to know about their sins. But, tell people about the Gospel. Explain how Jesus died for the sins of the world. Tell them how God loves all of his children. And, if the person chooses another path, love them anyway. But, quit preaching gloom and doom and "you're going to hell." You are giving us true Christains a bad name.

True Christians know that it is not for us to say whether someone will go to hell. That is not for us to know, that is between each person and God. There is too much of what humanity wants in religion, and not enough of what God wants for us. It is a tool, and people use it to bludgeon each other, to advance themselves financially and politically, without true thought to what the Bible really says, to what the words actually mean. I am sorry you have been treated this way. Please accept my apology.

No man has the right to damn you to hell. Only God can judge you. "God bless you" is a prayer that you may be enlightened by God to know the truth. God bless you. God bless us all. Remember, no one can damn you to hell.

Just attitudinal religious contradiction. I've had Christians condemn me to hell right after telling me that God predestines everyone's life. So I say to them that if God knows I'm going to hell, why are you trying to convert me?

If you were being sarcastic, rude, ugly and/or critical then I can understand their condemnation of you. the God Bless you at the end is a hope and a prayer that you will come to the light of Christ and reform your ways. There is a lot of bashing that goes on this sight and frankly we get tired of it.

Damning you to hell is between you and Christ, but God Bless you is a good thing to say to anyone.

Jesus doesnt want u to bypass to hell, he needs u to attraction to close God, he needs all to be kept. He makes it trouble-free declaring u cant earn your thanks to heaven yet to trust. He supplies eternal existence and an area for you in the dominion,......yet with all this solid information, people will reject Him and bypass yet in a unique way.....they knew the right way and they shrugged their shoulders to Him , thats denying Him, now if u deny Jesus then you quite will be separated from all this goodness. Miracles were done, people informed you, bible lasted for 1000's of years, people died for Him, historic previous is recorded....in case you enter hell, you'd be grinding your teeth down in bitterness and be apologetic about because u knew and also you wanting to bypass yet in a unique way, people chosen demise or existence of their relationship with Jesus, you both settle for Him or deny Him as Lord, no center floor.
