I am a Canadian citizen. My son got his immigration visa 3.5 years ago. Due to some personal reasons we left Canada three years ago and my son actually live in Canada for only two months.
Could you please let me know if he is eligible to become a Canadian citizen?

Ps. He is accompanied by me (a Canadian citizen) [I was a Canadian citizen when I left Canada.]

He is not eligible to apply for Canadian citizenship until he's actually resided in Canada for 3 years. He will have to return to Canada and reside there until he's met the requirement, then he can apply for citizenship. You can read more info about it here:

Good Luck!

Lisa A gave you very solid advice. basically through being born in u . s . of america makes you a U.S. citizen. basically write to the Bureau of significant information of the U. S. State in which you've been born, take that to the U. S. Consulate, practice for a passport, and Bob's yer uncle, you're a valid citizen.

Yes he is but he'll need to spend some time in Canada. Not necessarily straight away.
