My boyfriend has been very distant with me, telling me he needs time for himself and time to apply for new jobs as he is very unhappy with his current job. I am so worried about it? I have not been able to concentrate on anything else. I want to talk to him but then I don't want to push him away? We have been in contact but only a little, on Valentine's he texted and he called but I miss him so much and I want to talk to him?

Violet, Violet, Violet - MY heart goes out to you!
Men are not very good at telling us how they feel.
They find it hard to show their true feelings.
Why don,t you write your feelings down on paper.
Send him a letter explaining to him that you are
very worried about him. But that you do not want
to be 'shut out'.
You must find out what is going on in his head - cos
I know if I was standing in your shoes, I would think
that he was cheating on me and hasn,t the guts to
be straightforward and tell me. He probably thinks
he is sparing your feelings. Not realising he is making
matters worse.
I hope I am wrong - BUT - Valentines Day? He should
have been with you. Unless of course, he lives miles
away.
Just get the truth out of him - dig your heels. If he won,t
answer your letter. Dump him. Its not your fault he does
not like his job. Goin now cos I,m getting angry for you!!
Good Luck.

Give him some space. Sometimes when you are in a relationship it all gets a bit much. Go out with your friends and have a good time to take your mind off it. I'm sure everything will work out the way it's supposed to.

All you can do is give him his space, but more importantly is, concentrate on yourself. Try not get weighed down by this. You need to take your mind off of it. Go out and have fun. You will make yourself miserable if you let thoughts of him take over your mind. Just do things that make you happy right now.

hey..i guess its tough to understand guys. eh?..
but since im a guy, lemme tell u this.. guys're a lil different to u girls.. we're expected by society to be strong n unshaken..thats why we usually pull ourself back when we got somethin in our minds.. we don't talk it out loud.. to anyone.. because it'll look like we're weak.. so we usually keep to ourselves n try to sort it out without anyone's help, even our girls.. so when he said he needs time, he'd really appreciate it if u jus give him some space to sort some things alone.. it's usually nothin to do with u.. it's none of ur fault.. but maybe he jus doesn't wanna bring the problem into ur relationship.. thats why he wants to sort it out outside... alone..

so please give him some time k.. and don't be hard on urself.. it's a guys' thing..

Give him time. When a man says he needs time to himself listen. This is one of the problems with women...They don't listen.....to what is simply being said, or asked of them...

Let him alone all men need time to them selves. Usually when they are working out a problem in their heads. We need to blahhh bla bla and they need down time. When he is done thinking he will talk to you.
