I agree. I was rammed in a company Jeep at an intersection. I had the green light and the cross traffic was obviously red and the gal who ran into me was busy turned around smacking one of her children in the backseat...none of them were wearing seatbelts. One child in the front seat, struck the dashboard breaking his nose and the other child in the rear seat struck one of the headrests breaking his nose. Of course, no one witnessed anything even though there were people right there on the street corner. The woman never even got a traffic violation, warning, or anything. The officers felt bad that the kids got hurt...I lost my job.

the first thing that came to mind was : those idiots trying to talk on their cell phone and drive. 2500 people die each year in auto accidents because some were too busy on the cell phone. I had the misfortune of seeing a young woman get killed in a head-on because the guy that hit her was trying to dial his cell and drove into her. all he got was a ticket for failure to yield($50 fine). driving requires a person'S FULL attention. my safety is more important that someone's freaking phone call

Wow. You don't drive, do you? If you did, I doubt you'd ask something this stupid.
