As said before no mixers, they cause people the most trouble. Bon't drink cheap liquor, it isn't distiled as much and contains more impurities, fusel oils, etc... that cause hangovers. Stay away from liqueur, the sugars in them upset the stomach, it's like eating too much candy. I personally like Ketel One (vodka) on the rocks, or a dirty martini. Whatever liquor you choose, stick with it, don't mix with other types of liquor. Be sure you not on an empty stomach, drink slowly, and have a few snacks here and there. Another key is to stay hydrated, I tend to have a glass of water on every third drink. Dehydration causes an awful headache. And I prefer to be around friends, I hate to drink alone, need good conversation.

And at all cost avoid drinking beer or wine. I like both, but if you are going to get drunk they cause an awful hangover.

All I can really think of is what I've found from personal experience, but I hope it helps you somehow.

Make sure you get drunk on a full stomach or at least not while your belly is empty. Try to stick to one kind of alcohol all night long, and make sure you like the taste. Make sure you're in a good mood and are free of baggage before you get drunk. Also, drink with people you like and have fun being around.

If you're referring to the day after and minimizing hangovers then you should know some things. The type of alcohol you drink does make a difference. The darker sweeter drinks have more congeners. Therefore brandy, sherry, red wine and whiskey will give you more of a hangover than white wine and vodka. Cheap spirits poorly refined are more likely to give you a hangover.

Well, you want to feel good for a little while, have a couple and dance, or play interactive games like cranium, or sharades, but don't drink thinking it will make you happy, you have to be having a good time in the first place for that to happen, alcohaul just makes whatever you are feeling stronger! And can actually take over your feelings when you drink too much and it will start controlling you and your emotions, this is very destructive and sad. So just keep your drinking in check and maybe after a while you won't even need alcohaul!!

Drink clear alcohol, vodka, gin anythin that isnt coulored and if you must mix it just use water or Ice this cuts down on body reactions and you wont get a bad hangover. As to feel good whilst your drunk that is another matter and its down to what you like to do sex, dugs, gardening watching telly.
