it is said that if we pray & memorise god from heart then we are supposed to get near to god. but my question is...
how to memorise god, what to call him. we dont know his name, his appearance, his voice, his smell & his anything. to whom we shall pray, whats his name. after all the word "GOD" is also a word given to HIM by us for reference only. what actually HE can be called.. & how to get near to him
RAMA, KRISHNA, LORD SHIVA, MUHAMMAD, JESUS etc are just messengers/varieties of HIS.
WHO IS HE ACTUALLY ? where to find him ?

Jesus is not just a "messenger" - He is God the Son (relationship to the Father) yet fully GOD. God revealed Himself to man as Elohim, as Jehovah, as the "I AM that I AM" God. He said His name was Jehovah-Shalom, Jehovah-rapha, Jehovah-Nissie and many other names. In appearance He is a Spirit begin vaguely shaped like man (for we are made in His image and likeness). Yet He is not confined by matter - therefore He can be everywhere at once. His voice is as the sound of might rushing waters (see Revelation) and yet He can speak to the soul in a still, quiet voice (see Ezekiel). If you would know Father God, you must do so through the Son of God (Jesus) - for there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we MUST be saved (except the name Jesus). If you would know the Father you must Know the Son - there is no other way.

Psalm 83:18 That people may know that you, whose name is Jehovah, you alone are the Most High over all the earth.
James 4:8 say to Draw close to Jehovah and he will draw close to you.
John 17:3 This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you the only true God and of the one whom ou sent forth Jesus Christ.
Now you have God's name, and what is required.

I believe God is everything, and everywhere,..I also see God as a n old man.,with a long white beard! LOL! ..even though he is also female...from what I have heard and read..I also see him'her as a young looking male child.(but with a very adult personality) in different races..(I had a dream, with this holy child helping and "comforting" me...and I have also heard that GOd is known as "the comforter"!!!...)

I think that God may not only be around us,,,but perhaps inside of us, too. God is a diety, that if you mess with him/her, he can get angry, but, GOd loves you so much, that even if you didn't say "I am sorry," God, still loves you, and keeps trying to "teach" and or "show" you things that you need to learn, or know more about!

You don't have to see God, but, just believe...and have faith...that you can count on God, lean on HIM/HER when you really need to.
Also, when bad things happen, and God wasn't able to fix it...the way that I see it (via seeing Bruce the Almighty) I now have come to believe..that God, tries, but, there are some things that even HE/SHE can't take care of....and this has to do with "Chi" and or Balance in our world...there must be a balance...and sometimes God, must not help, or do anything...but, mostly, it just happens, and I believe that God cannot do literally "everything"..WE the people..his humans have to do more!! More to help, and to reach out..and to be much more than we ever thought possible...and that HE/SHe wanted us to be...that is why we were his creatiions...partially.

God is an English word, Allah is another language, as so is Buddha, Jehovah and every other name given to God.

By the same token who is a dog or a tree, or an ocean, or the sea
they are all names given by men, but who do they say they are?

In any and every language there is a word for Father, therefore, Jesus told you "God's" name. and it was;
Father, who art in heaven.

But which God are you referring to? Are you referring to Satan, Jesus, or Father, for they are all known as "God"

Father God is know as the Creator of Heaven and Earth.
LORD God is know as that who made everything in the heaven and earth.
Or Satan who is known as the prince of the heaven and earth and the Deceiver.

This not only your confusion but every human started from here, the basic thing is not the definition given by us or others before us., it is our acceptance of him, whatever we may call him , all these titles are given by us to identify him or differentiate him from us. I sincerely feel that he/she actually does not know that he is god. (because even if any body reached him, he will be wonder struck by his/her appearance, that state what words can come out of our mind or mouth?
my feeling is that we stop all the definition of god and just think of the supreme reality with the only thought in our mind and heart.

Einstein and Spinoza thought of God as being the sum total of all physical laws that govern the universe. Common modern notions has him being a wise, grandfatherly figure dressed in flowing white robes. This question is something that you will have to decide for yourself. Sorry, but no one has a strangle hold on truth.

ALLAH: ALLAH is the proper name in Arabic for The One and Only God, The Creator and Sustainer of the universe. It is used by the Arab Christians and Jews for the God (Eloh-im in Hebrew; 'Allaha' in Aramaic, the mother tongue of Jesus, pbuh). And in Hinduism God is known as Allah in Rigveda bk2 hym1 v11, Rigveda bk3 hym30 v10, Rigveda bk9 hym67 v30. And there is a separate Upanishad named Alloh Upanishad. The word Allah does not have a plural or gender. Allah does not have any associate or partner, and He does not beget nor was He begotten.

We cannot know the true essence that is God,He is far too high above us in all things,it would be like a worm trying to figure out who Einstein was, what we do know of God is what Jesus taught us about Him,God is the Creator Father of all that exists,He is pure love and mercy, He is compassionate but also just in His dealings with His creatures.
God was our beginning and He will be our final end,for if we love Him and obey His commandments we shall live in unbelievable joy forever.

Your question reminds me of Proverbs 30 verses 2-4 of the Bible:

2 "I am the most ignorant of men;
I do not have a man's understanding.

3 I have not learned wisdom,
nor have I knowledge of the Holy One.

4 Who has gone up to heaven and come down?
Who has gathered up the wind in the hollow of his hands?
Who has wrapped up the waters in his cloak?
Who has established all the ends of the earth?
What is his name, and the name of his son?
Tell me if you know!

You see only Jesus has gone up to heaven and come down - Jesus silenced the wind, Jesus walked on water, Jesus established this planet and holds every molecule togther.

Jesus said if you have seen me you have seen the Father.

Please read the Gospels about him which tell his amazing story. Only Jesus is the Lord.
