A sin is the transgression of the law "1John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
So God gave the law as a part of His love, as a guide to His creature. (example father to his child. The father gave a law/rules to his child saying " my son before sunset you must be inside the house already don't stay to late because there are many danger outside" the child go outside and he never mind what his father said, he stay up late and he got himself into troubled.) So we see from this example that the law is not bad. but the law is here to guide us human.
God gave rules or law to Adam that he shall not eat from the tree of knowledge, but Adam disobey the law given by God thats why the sin entered the world.
Rom 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

You are on a roll arent you/ As little rebellious Children, we fight like a baby in the crib that fights the invasion of slumber...lol........GOD is the ALPHA AND OMEGA, therefore being so wouldnt you have the knowledge of what sin truly is? Dont you think its a sin to sleep with another mans wife? Or to steal from someone? I would really suggest that you take that book and burn it. The logical mind doesnt perceive God because it is between two realms. Toss the book son, its making you diminsh to the level of the author.

It is a sin because it is in rebellion against the Word of God. The Lord dictates what is right and wrong.

Your confused my friend. God does not count sins, If u life your life with love that is enough. God is not a creator....since time is an illusion. God is everything. God is in the space between us. God is in the table in front of you. God is everything and everywhere and everyone.

This may be a moot argument. I do not advocate using spam. But the following will clearer up where sin actually hides.
Bless Me Father for I Have Sinned: Perspectives on Sexual Abuse Committed by Roman Catholic Priests
by Thomas G. Plante
"These essays outline a clinical agenda for professionals dealing with clergy sexual abuse. They should enable research clinical professionals, and clergy to identify the relevant issues in the identification, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of child and adolescent sexual abuse committed by Roman Catholic priests. Leading experts in the field from the United States and Canada have offered their different perspectives on this compelling problem including victim profiles for determining who is at risk."

Sin is disobeying God. Obedience, simply put, is doing what you are commanded to do. If you are not told to do anything, there is no command, therefore there is no disobedience.
If you are commanded not to do something and you decide to do it, you have dissobeyed - therefore you have sinned!!
Of course, sin is much more complicated than that.

Actually, I don't care that much about God or sins, I try to try my best to do what I feel is right.

Because gods are imaginary, there is relevance to god with respect to sins. The rule of thump is; do not do to others what you not want other to do to you. My rule of thump is; Be good be nice

It was morally or ethically wrong, or antisocial, or not conducive to the survival of the tribe, long before religion labeled it as "sin".
