Pedophilia, Slavery, the fact the women are property of men either their father or husband, intolerance of other faiths, and a general degradation of society in general.

How dreadful are the curses
which Mohammedenism lays on its votaries. Besides the fanatical frenzy, which
is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic
apathy. The effects are appearant in many countries. Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exists wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live. A degraded
sensualism degrades this life of its grace and refinement; the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property, either as a child, a wife, or a concubine, must delay the extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men. Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities..... but the influence of the religion paralyzes the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund Mohammedanism is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science, the science of which it had vainly struggled the civilization of Modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilization of ancient Rome.

isn't he. He remains a hero of the 20th century.

When Muslims are allowed to take charge, they mercilessly brainwash from childhood and oppress their own people:

"The mentality of each one of us was programmed upon entering school as a child, to believe that Islam is everything. Instilled in our small heads was the notion that the Muslim has a right--whatever the cause--and that he will triumph--even if he is armed with a stick of wood against a tank--because he represents the truth and the others represent falsehood. Instilled in our small heads was the notion that we have a monopoly on good values...They have taught us that anyone who is not a Muslim is our enemy, and that the west means enfeeblement, licentiousness, lack of values and even Jahiliya [pre-Islamic ignorance] itself. Anyone who escapes this programming in school encounters it at the mosque, or through the media or from the preachers lurking in every corner." (Dr. Sahr Muhammad Hatem, Riyadh)

Thomas Friedman, a journalist in Beirut, once wrote that during the 80s journalists were threatened with death or physical harm if they ever published stories that were pro-Israeli or anti-PLO or anti-Muslim.

CNNs senior news executive Jordan Easton has published a report concerning CNNs coverage of Saddam Hussein 2000-2003, the report was titled "The News We Kept To Ourselves", claiming that if they had reported what they actually saw in Baghdad, news bureau workers there would have certainly faced trial and execution.

Brigitte Gabriel (a native of Lebanon and journalist) has written that there is no such thing as a free press in the Arab world. News is strictly controlled as a tool of propaganda and control by Muslim rulers.

The indoctrination of children. The mixture of fear and ignorance that allows for people to believe in some of the craziest things ever thought up by anyone implanted in minds too young to think for themselves.

The hatred of people towards one another that comes from the Qu'ran is only rivaled by that in the Bible.

The ignorance the Qu'ran promotes is only trumped by the Bible.

The barbaric actions the Qu'ran endorses..thighing, genital mutilation, ashura, prolonged fasting etc.. is only rivaled by that of the Bible.

I could go on and on..but that's more than enough.

(raising hand) I don't hate Islam, because it's the religion of complete submission to the Will of God. How could anyone hate that? Islam existed from the beginning, but its followers have had different names... Jews, Christians, Muslims, Baha'is (modern day)

There were religions of God before Judaism, we just don't know them anymore.

Why hate Islam? Why hate the religion of obedience to the Will of God? Some hate out of ignorance and out of being poorly, sorely poorly educated in Islam. They read some false b*llshit and believe the lies. Cowgirl is a prime example of this.

I don't hate Islam. I don't hate most Muslims. Islam does not preach hatred. Extremist Muslims twist the Koran the same way extremist Christians (such as Timothy McVeigh) twist the Bible.

my opinion formed by going thru the current affairs, gives me the idea that this religion which came quite late can't seem to accept other culture nor accept their values. so in a multicultural world it's a destructive element. more and more of laypeople of islam are becoming virulent fanatics compared to other mainstream religions.

I don't hate them, but I don't like the fact that they approve of what the terrorists are doing... You don't see them speaking out against terrorism. I'm sure there are some good ones out there that are against it, but I haven't met any yet.

It demeans women, restricts freedoms, is violent towards those that don't follow the laws exactly, is hateful to those who don't believe, breeds fear and distrust, and is absolutely incompatible with a world moving towards democracy, equality and tolerance. Is that enough?
