no! A religion is can not be judge.
You can't judge a religion by it's followers. Because every religion has a bad and good follower.
Exp.
You happened to know a person who is Muslim is a killer, that doesn't mean that all Muslim is a killer. And so the opposite.
If you know a christian who is a killer, doesn't mean that all christian is a killer.
You also can't judge a religion by it's teaching. Because the one who teach is a human, and for a same religion you could find more than 2 different teaching about the same thing.
don't generalize things....

I think you should be able to judge the teachings by the life of the followers. The catch is, there are followers of the religion and followers of the teachings and they may not always be the same people.

The problem usually lies not in the nature of the religion or the acts and beliefs of the majority of followers, but in corrupt religious and political authority, or else, the application of unfair laws and poor socioeconomic conditions, including a lack of freedom in a society.

no, because the followers are the product of the teachings. that's like continually buying a bad product because the advertising said it was good.

In fact, you're better off judging by actions, not by teachings.
Teachings can easily be falsified.
