Urate calculi occur most commonly in Dalmatians, and one symptom is edema of the legs.
I will see if I can find more info, so please check back.

It seems to be quite common, as there are so many articles posted about it, so I will just give you this link> http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&client=firefox-a&channel=s&rls=org.mozilla%3Aen-US%3Aofficial&hs=KMM&q=Urate+calculi++dalmatians&btnG=Search
I hope you find something helpful there..

As chetco said, dalmations are prone to bladder stones which can have symptoms similar to this. Is she on the Lasix for heart disease? Heart failure can also cause edema in the legs, and if she has heart problems you need to have her reevaluated (x-ray) to make sure she doesnt need her meds adjusted.

If your dog is already on lasix, she really shouldn't have swelling. You need to talk to your vet, especially if the Lasix is for congestive heart failure.

I'd take her to the vet and see what he/she says!
