when a person is dehydrated, that person simply feels so weak due to lack of water in the system. it will come to a point when a person just finds it dificult to stand up and walk, the knees are wobbly and eventually collapses. If not checked immediately, the person may dies. Dehydration is not something to take lightly. If you think you are dehydrated, REHYDRATE by drinking lots of water. It would be good to add a little sugar and a little salt to the water you drink. or go guzzle gatorade...

hm...being cold doesnt mean you're dehydrated. dry mouth is normal although it can suggest dehydration.
do you feel lethargic/tired these days? do you have dry skin? if yes...then you might actually have low thyroid levels. depending on how old you are and what gender, this could be a problem that you'd want to get fixed or it could just be an annoyance to live with.

Have a Thyroid Function test. (T3,T4 TSH tests) ..It maybe metabolic. Better yet, consult your doctor about it.

As for dehydration, the symptoms are

increased thirst
a dry mouth and tongue
decreased urine output
3 to 9 percent weight loss
normal to increased heart rate and pulses, normal to fast breathing, and cool extremities
capillary refill greater than 2 seconds
recoil on skin turgor test in less than 2 seconds
slightly sunken eyes (and/or fontanel in a baby)
