take him out for a dinner and order his favourite food. Unique? show him your love for him. this is something cant be bought and it would be the most pleasant thing for him. it shows that you care.

It depends on how much you love him. For me, i will go out to buy all the things needed to make a great present for him. Then i'll stay at home to decorate it nicely. Then i'll tell him all my true feelings. I guess that's the perfect gift all parents want. Oh yes...And of course, spend time with him outside and dress nicely. But if you say Unique, hmm....let me think....
video-taped yourself dancing a really cute dance or give him a suprise? Sorry, can't think of anyting special...

My father and I are more like friends than father and daughter..one year I got him the most random birthday gift...he laughed for a while. I got him this instant plunger thing. It came in a little case..I think it was called something like Rescue instant plunger...He was like, "what the?..uhm...what....why?..uh why would you get me this?" I laughed and asked, has anyone ever gotten you that gift before? "he laughed and said, NO!? Now I'm excited to use it." Then he purposely clogged the toilet to try it out..lmao I love that fella.
It was unique. :D
