go to the Asian games, youll see alot of athlete thanking Allah, Krishna, whoever..
Divine beings dont influence the results of sporting events.
Another thing, in this country a few days ago, there was a paraglider who was swept up into a storm to 30,000' altitude, at temperatures of -80 for 40 minutes, she passed out. She survived, the others didn't, it was a miracle. She is an atheist.

Well, if you accept the proposition that Jesus affects the outcome of sporting events, then we should also see athletes on the losing end of a game saying something like this:
"We were gonna win... until Jesus made me fumble"
Now that's a post-game interview I would watch.

I concur. Although it would thrill me more to see them LIVE Jesus. Some do acknowledge Jesus, but their actions are far from his, continuously. I realize that we all fall but continuously? That would be the ultimate witness. Just like A. C. Green, formerly of the Los Angeles Lakers. He not only acknowleged Jesus but he substained from sex until marriage, spoke the Word and did not(to my knowlege) bring any reproach on the name of Jesus. May God Bless U.

I think the Jesus freaks should stop giving thanks to the 1st LT, & start giving thanks to the creator. Jesus was a servant of the creator, just as we are. Start following the chain of command.
Besides, athletes are nothing but overpaid theatricalists. Let's see these same abilities with a few less limbs, then they will have earned some accomplishment worth noting > worth billions annually.
To talk ill of other people with sexual preferences not like yourself > like Tim Hardaway is proof that along with racism, YOU will be judged. And just who are YOU to judge the likes of others ???
You'll get YOURS too when you meet the creator.

By openly thanking "Jesus" for winning, aren't they openly admitting to cheating? Jesus must be their "anabolic steroid".
Jesus: The performance-enhancer.

It's great that they thank Him when they win, but they should also thank Him when they lose. If someone ever did that after they lost a game, I would be impressed.

sounds like crap to me!
It's nothing to do with Jesus...if it was why would they spend hours on end training. They could just sit around eating pizza and drinking beer getting fat. Wake up!!!

Yeah, right.
Who do the blame when they lose? Would that mean their gods liked the other team better?
