You know what? You shouldn't. That's my opinion.
Firstly, I happen to have a number of friends who are "bad guys" to some. Yet when I am close with them I find that deep within them, they are just as good.. they care, they love, they feel pain and all of it (though necessarily all of them).
I happen to think of myself as a good guy. I felt horribly bad when a girl I liked a lot fell for a "bad guy". To add, I heard the same story from a lot of other guys as well. Almost made me think that I should be "bad" as well.
Yet when I did those bad things, anyone can look at me and see how miserably fake I look. And it didn't do any good to me, infact earned me a lot more trouble in return. Perhaps it came late to me, but it did. Its best to be who you are. If someone loves you for what you are, that is the love you are gonna enjoy in the long run. When someone loves you for what you are not, then she doesn't really love you. Its better to be single that way and remain genuine than put up a front, change your entire self and do things you don't like just to win someone. If a girl you like likes bad guys, so be it, yours might be around the next bend.

First of all, you should never become someone your not.
You may want to become a bad boy, but after a while you wont be able to pull it off and the girl will be able to tell.
And if you think about it, many girls would probably go with a bad boy for the excitement of it, but then get bored of it.
You have to know who you are and stick with it. Not all girls like bad boys .

I think guys should be themsevles to be honest. If you're a good guy, then you're a good guy, there is no need to change.
There are girls out there that like good guys and there are girls out there that love bad boys. I tend to fall for both, although I do like the bad boys a bit more than the good guys, but that's only my preference.
I think it's funny how the one guy said the girls are full of sh"t when they say they want a nice guy vs. an assho*e. For me, it goes either way because I'd be happy with a good guy as I would be happy with a bad boy. I'm a nice girl and I'm a good person and I'm happy with whoever I'm with and I find good in EVERYBODY.
Also, to the girl who said only immature girls for for the bad boys, now to her I can say she is full of sh*t because if you've never been with a bad boy then who are you to judge their going to be a "boy" the rest of their lives? I happen to know a lot of "bad boys" and their really great people underneath it all. A lot of guys do put up a front and act all bad, but then again, you get to know them, they are awesome guys. Also to this same woman, I'm sure if you did ask any woman they would say they want good man, but a good man can be a bad guy, he really can. Who are you to judge someone based on what you hear of them or see them? Unless you actually know the person, DON'T judge them!!! You're just acting shallow and I think it's pathetic.

Immature girls prefer the bad boys (which are boys and always will be.) Ask any woman and she will tell you she is looking for a good man.

Good boys always turn out to be good guys.
Bad boys turn out to be bad guys (assholes) usually.
Just be youself. And btw, you won't end up with a happy long-term relationship with a girl that likes likes bad boys. That's usually a phase some younger girls go through.

Girls are full of ****, they know they are when they are asked about nice guys vs *****, they say I want a nice guy, but when have to chose they go for the dick, that is one of the influnces behind my switch from nice guy to being basicly a pimp

Nope, that only gets you a date. If you really are a bad boy, they eventually they get sick of you and leave.

thats damn straight. I would know because I used to be a good guy. sometimes you just have to know when to not take s**t from anyone. it doesnt mean that your bad though.
