I'm 18 and want to drop out for awhile, but I don't know what I need to do to officially drop out. I know I can't just go to the principal and say I'm dropping out, there would have to be more to it. Don't **** around with me and tell me false things because I won't ******* fall for it. I need and honest and detailed response.

Thanks

You need to go to your guidance counselor. The secretary can help you. If you are 18 then you are allowed to drop out but you have to prove that you have a job and that you will be doing something. Usually there is a form that your employer will have to sign.
If you just stop going without withdrawing then you will be truant and have to go to court.
I am a teacher and my duty this year was working in the guidance office so I learned this when an 18 year old student came to drop out. Really, in my opinion... since you are 18 you must be close to graduating. The year is almost over... consider sticking through it. It will be worth it when you graduate.
