i can't decide on what hairstyle to use to a formal dance. i have a black, halter dress with a v neckline and it has silver glitter all over it. it goes down to my knees. i'm really tall for a girl, so i don't want to add height to the top of my head. my hair is layered and about 5 inches below my shoulders. it's naturally wavy/curly, but kinda frizzy too. =\ oh, and i have broad shoulders. also, any makeup ideas? =D

Straighten your hair and do it in a relaxed, low, half up style held back with a small fancy clip. You could also curl the bottoms with a 2 inch curling iron.

And for your makeup do dramatic eyes OR dramatic lips. If you choose eyes use black shadow and full lashes (No shimmer or glitter, it'll class with the glittery dress.) On lips try your favorite deep red.

Good luck!

Well, you sound pretty if that helps you(in a non-weird way promise)I would say go to wal-mart and buy some shampoo to lock in moisture for curly hair.just read a few bottles or ask for help. then i would take a curling iron to it to emphasize your already curly hair. i would wear it down; place a little less than half in front of your shoulders, and the rest behind. This will take the attention off your shoulders. I have a friend that is a hair stylist and she would say to than put glitter in your hair (totally up to you, just thought that I’d mention that.)
As far as make up goes eyes are the most important!!! Starting on the bottom do a light color such as a shimmery silver, next the crease, this is where the darkest color goes like black do the crease in this color and then a slight arc over the crease. Then on the top do the lightest color or the silver you used on the bottom, but apply it lightly. This would work with any colors, these just seem like the ones that would be best for you dress, which sounds very pretty btw!! the make up may sound tacky but it's actually really pretty!!! Good luck hope this helps, and I hope you have a great time!!!

Since your hair is full and frizzy, apply some product that will allow you to straighten it out. Slick it back into a knot at the base of your neck, so you don't add any height. Attach a glittery pin in the knot to draw attention to your bare back. Since you hair will be elegant/severe, you should play up your eyes OR your mouth (your best feature)
