I get all my supplies from The Grape and Granary. If you use their flavoring, you can sweeten with something like Splenda and you should use a cup or so of regular sugar to give the yeast something to eat to get the carbonation going.

The other alternative is to use a Soda Syphon that uses a CO2 cartridge... that would eliminate the need for the yeast and any sugar to start the carbonation. You can get one of these from HopTech (see link)

ingridients;


10 lbs gingerroot
64 ounces pineapple juice
24 cups water
3 lemons
2 tablespoons vanilla
2 tablespoons Angostura bitters
304 g xylitol sugar substitute

procedure;


1. blend ginger with water, strain.
2. mix all ingredients.
