your explorer.exe has crashed, for any number of reasons, most likely malware... in task mgr go to file > run and type "explorer.exe" and it might bring everything back, if not try booting up through safemode by tapping f8 as the computer starts, then try a system restore to a time before this problem happend, if that does not work you will need to find some maleware scanners

Well boot up and tap f10 to see if you get to the recovery system. Try to do the Restore part first. If not able to for whatever then reboot and this time do the recovery part. Recovery can either leave your programs on the computer or the Hard Recovery where ALL DATA is erased and the computer reformatted to factory specifications, or like it was when it came out of the box.\


If the F10 does not work, try the f8 then.

u managed to end the process-explorer.exe

in task manager go to new task and type explorer.exe

Try double clicking the very bottom of the screen & dragging up..you may have just pulled it down.
