Your boyfriend is being an *ss. His friend is a prize jerk, and choosing to be friends with a cheater says something about him. Something not good. You are right, if you were being cheated on, you'd want to know. I'd want your boyfriend beforehand about what you are going to do, then tell her. If you lose him, I'd say good riddance. For all you know, he is cheating on you, and telling his friend all about it. In light of the other answers, I'll emphasize; your boyfriend is being very scummy in supporting a cheater. You know what kind of person supports cheaters? Cheaters. Maybe you can convince him that what he's doing is wrong, but if you can't, you still should do the right thing. Your scummy boyfriend will likely be angry that his friend no longer trusts him. But if he picks his dirtbag friend over you, yo will be much better off in the long run.

your girlfriend is a real biatch for cheating. that is unacceptable. Your friend is a bastard for marking up your turf. But dont cut them both out. Just back up and dont be so close to either. One of the two should seek to be closert to you and offer to back off the other. If this happens good for you. If it doesn't then you should move on and get a new girlfriend and watch your friend around her. Keep in mind that you should tell your new girlfriend why the last relationship didn't work out and that you tolerate cheating. Just like you won't cheat on her.

Lose them both! Seriously, it's and infraction of trust, and you don't need friends like that. And being you're in high school, there's no reason why she would be worth it. Then take a look at yourself. The situation sucks, but what can you learn about yourself to keep something like this happening again. Your tast in girls? What are your life goals (college, sports, etc.)? And do your friends and the girls you're attracted to also have those goals? Move on, the sooner the better, and focus on other things for now..... like your future.

man! dump her already. no guy should get cheated on! your only a freshman you will find lots more after her that will treat you the right way. second if he really is your friend what is he doing cheating on your girl. talk to him and see whats up with him?

First of all, stop calling him your best friend cos he ain't now!
You need to decide for yourself if you want to stay with your girlfriend and give her another chance. Personally I would dump her as I don't believe in cheating. You deserve better!

i'd drop that name to ex best friend and forget your girlfriend. he decieved you and she cheated. once a cheater, always a cheater. and you're in highschool. trust me, girls come and go just as much as guys do for girls. maybe not the best answer but we all know it's true till you find the right person for yourself. and that'll happen when it happens. good luck

i personally believe that you should ask your girl friend directly if she has any feelings for your best freind and if its yes you cannot help it but jus le t go and boy its not the end of it life s journey has just begun!!
if she is kind of committed to u then probably talk to your best friend and sort out..
