I'm not skinny and nor do I have tons of rolls of fat!!! I do take care of myself and I do workout 4-6 days a week. I've lost 30lbs & 29 inches so far & I'm still a long ways to go.
It's hard for me when it comes to finding a boyfriend or someone to get into a relationship with, especially in person. I've found myself using the internet to find people, is that a bad thing?
I feel that online I can be myself and be the person that I am, but when in life and I'm around people, I'm not the same and I'm really quiet and shy? Does that turn a guy off?
I talked to this guy online we talked for 4 months hours on end every night and online and I finally met him... he said he really liked me and liked a girl with some meat on her & wanted to be with me. So 3 weeks after we met, he asked me out. It was going good until 3 days after he asked me out, we stopped talking.
So, I'm wondering if it's because guys prefer skinny girls rather than one with some meat and curves to her?

I didn't decieve him with the pictures. I was rather shy and scared to go and meet him (he even knew and hung out with my ex boyfriend, so thats' when I knew too it was cool to meet him) only because I'm not skinny and I know some of my pictures on Myspace may seem like I'm skinny or whatever. But I did send him a full body shot of me and he's like "Babe, you're fine, theres nothing to worry about, I like you for you"
So maybe it was bullsh*t or what.. I really don't know. But it's really messed up that he did that to me.

no, honey, u re completely wrong. u stopped talking because maybe u already talked about everything and u had nothing to talk about. maybe when u met u acted entirely different from how u act when u re chatting. u told it yourself. anyway, whether u re fat or thin has nothing to do with the lack of communication skills. i suggest u contact this guy and ask what went wrong. not because u want him back or anything, just because u have to work on your flaws. when he tells u what went wrong u will correct it and try again to meet a guy on internet and then meet him in real life and see what will happen. i say work makes masters. good luck

Hey I love girls with meat. I can't stand skinny girls. You'll find many guys that will take you the way you are so don't change who you are. Now if you're fat to the point where you might have health risk then yeah you need to change but you don't sound like that at all. So stay the way you are. I love to have you as my gf :) Online thing is really weird. That's where all the child molester and liars are hiding behind the computer. When you're young you're going to be shy but you'll get there to the point when you're an adult you'll be fine and talk to guys normally. So don't rush for bf cuz you'll meet weirdos that way.

Personally, I prefer a "thick" woman... You can have all those bony model / actress chicks... I like my meat. As far as you being shy / quiet... I would attempt to make some sort of communication, lest the guy/gal think you to be stuck up.... Thats all I gotta say on the matter for now
Stay cool

yes, Now it has become a trend to have a GF who is skinny, tall and look sexy. Man just likes to show off what he posses and nothing is better than a gorgeous looking GF. Forget the guy you met on net, their are many flirts in their, many have a really bored married life and look for fantacies. If you like a guy in someplace over the net, do a background check of him, normally every guys speak polite and nice over net.... and their are guys who like girls with some meat and curves... that too is lovely. Dont be sad, love yourself first and be confident. Be a cheerful lady and men like being with babes.... so act like one
best of luck...

I have plenty of meat on my bones, and in my opinion there are more guys that like that than will admit to it. I have picked up guys on the internet and in person. Its all about having confidence in yourself. For those guys that can't look beyond the outside they aren't worth it because they don't know what true beauty is.
Hang in there, your prince charming will come along and sweep you off your feet before you even know what hit ya!

I would like a normal girl, not too fat not too skinny... I guess it doesn't matter so much, I go for the personality of the girl.... I hope that helps.

It really depends on the guy. Just like asking do girls like men with facial hair? Not matter what you look like, there is someone who will find you attractive.

im all rather curvy too but i have a boyfriend. i dont know, i would think its based on their own preferences. there will always be the few that love their girls skinny, some curvy, but i suppose ultimately its based on your character, so dont worry girl(:
