The present curriculum has to be changed for good.The syllabus must be related to the type of work they do in future and it should be related to real life situations. The syllabus must be dealt in the school and only the work should be carried home and not the load of books. Students must mentally equipped to carry out the studies without the load.

When the education system is based on improving social skills and ethics and values, the loads of books will be reduced.
when the students study only in class rooms then loads of books will be abolished.

when the schools provide them with individual lockers to keep their books and take home only those which they need for home work and reading. looks like they r going to harm their backs with the heavy bag. schools have to look into this matter seriously.
