I bought my wedding gown here for around $200:
http://stores.ebay.com/Priceless-Bridal-Store

They were great, they even have the option to sew the dress to your exact measurement instead of an off-the-rack pattern.

The dress was beautiful and fit perfectly. It wasn't super quality as far as the fabric and seam finishing goes, but for a dress I was only going to wear once it didn't matter, and for that price I was satisfied.

There are a lot of other wedding dress vendors on ebay with very reasonable prices for new dresses, so if you don't see anything you like at this one, shop around.

I would also recommend at least going to a bridal boutique and trying on some gowns, even if you are not going to buy. That will give you a really good idea of what styles you like and what looks best on you. That's what I did, so I knew the style I picked would look good on me before I bought it (and it did!).

Good luck and congratulations!

I've been searching for wedding gowns the past week straight and I'm telling you...the best way to go is ebay. I'm getting a couture gown that is last season (oh my god! so its a year old! who cares!) it lists for $2400, and I'm getting it for $300. Look up couture gowns and you will get alot of results. I've seen alot of Pronovias gowns up for Buy It Now for $199 that used to be over $1000.

Just beware of the fake reproductions from China. Just buy the actual brand name dresses. You will get them right away because they are in stock, and you just pick a size to buy.

Hope this helps.

Here is one off of a quick search:

My fiance bought her wedding dress on www.ebay.com.au for $200 and from what she has told me she is more than happy with it. It saved us hundreds of dollars.

Just be careful buying on eBay. I found an article about experiences that a company had. Here is the link:
