I was born in Canada to American parents. I have spent most of my life in America and claim American citizenship. I currently own a U.S. passport. Canada says I also have Canadian citizenship, so does that mean I can own a second passport issued by Canada? Also...I am married to a British citizen and after three years I can apply for a U.K. passport...but will I have to give up my American passport? Is there a way I can own passports from all 3 countries?

You can have all three but it will get complicated. My children have dual citizenship to the US and to Tunisia. To enter or exit the US, they must use their US passport, and to enter or exit Tunisia, they must use their Tunisian passport. When we travel to Europe we take their US passport because most EU countries don't require visas to US citizens. So every time we travel, we have to take both of their passports, also because boarder/custom officials like to see both passports to see where they have been and to verify where they have come from.

If you want 3 passports you are going to have to take all three with you every time you travel to show boarder/custom officials verification of where you have been. If 2 is a hassle, I'm sue that 3 would be a pain in the neck!

You can.
Some countries won't allow you to do that notably Germany, but none of those you mention.
Only thing is you should be careful when entering or leaving a country to present the same passport or you may get into troublye

I'd say no. Why would you want 3? The relations between Canada and the US permit dual citizenship, but in order to get your UK passport, you would have to become a UK citizen, thereby forfeiting your citizenship in other countries.

Yes, technically you may, but you make it sound like a shopping spree. Citizenship bears with it a certain level of responsibility to the country and to its people.
