First of all like a couple of other people have already said I think They talk about it more than they do it.Some kids aren't even doing it they just say they are because nowadays it not generally socially acceptable to be a virgin.I am 22 and have been married for 3 years together for 5 total. My husband and I have sex like everyday sometimes twice a day. In the beginning it was more than that but once the relationship deepened and became less physical and more emotional and full filling the passion ebbed a little. Some couples do it less because they have more stress or more kids, more demanding jobs, or all of the above all that stress is physically and mentally draining. Besides teenagers don't really think about the consequences of going around having sex with random people. Alot of teens think sex is love and its not they think that it makes them mature it doesn't it just makes them foolish. One day they will learn. Maybe

Because it is a forbidden fruit. It is always better when your not supposed to do it. If the parents are easy going a are supporting their kid's actions then the teen does it because they have permission too. Also if the parents consent to them having sex I would say they do it more because they want their parents to be more like parents and be tough on them. Also they more than likely do it because it is what everyone else is doing.

They do not have the responsibilities that come with adulthood - therefore they have less stress and less worry, which all equals more time for sex and sexual thoughts.

But, as an adult (20s), I would like to think I have more sex than my neices and nephews. In fact, I am sure that I do!

I don't really think that they do. First of all I just think teens talk about it more because they have something to prove. And secondly I think that's a stereotype perpetuated by media because the corporation needs something to make fun of. My friends and I pretty much have the same schedule that we did before....just with one guy. Much nicer and safer...and no sneaking!

Teens think they are invincible, so they don't worry as much as they should about safe sex, or emotional struggles after sex. They equate sex with love, but love is so much more.

it is quite simple, as they are young, and sex is surely restricted to them by their parents ( children's love to do what is said not to do ) and secondly this is something new to them, so they find it fun and are very much excited...

and the adults have already had it everyday as most of them are married, so they are not interested..
