Hi
a Buddy did this with success.
He went to a local equiptment rental store and talked to the people there they knew every contractor in the area. these guys know who is hiring. next day he was working.

ps dont feal bad alot of carpenters go through this will waitnig for the next bid to come through.

Where are you out of and have you checked your local carpenter temp agencies? They usually pick you up for some quick piece work. I ve done it many times when I got slow. Check out construction labor or skilled labor in your area, theres always some kind of work no matter where your living... Good luck

you gotta go look for it bro get on the phone call every contractor in the phone book call all the lumber yards go to all the job sites sell your talents . been there a few times myself and never been with work for more then a few days. good luck
