Living in a country where the natives don't speak English as a first language can, in fact, be a bit isolating at times. But if you're going somewhere with the idea of having yourself a great adventure and you're willing to be open to new experiences, then try teaching English as a second language. I've done it now for about four years, and it contains all the elements you can imagine.

Someone else mentioned that you should visit the country you're thinking of living in. Good advice. As to going to the US, yes, the idea of moving there can be daunting. But they'll dig your accent and that's a plus. In Europe, most non-native speakers of English wouldn't know the difference between Australian English and Ebonics English. Good luck.

Since i do like travelling a lot, i'll give you some advice then, normally i will recommend people to go to thailand as i've already been there quite a lot of time..e.t.c Bangkok, Pattaya, Pukhet Hattyai And Krabi. And i will nvr feel bored.. Its fun though.. Basically, thailand are all more to beach, sea sport, visitting places of interest and worship, you'll find it very interesting as most of their places, roads or street are after their kings... Shopping? Oh my god!!! it's F***ing cheap and the food, you no need to trouble yourself to go and find it.... Its everywhere.... Normally i'll shop till i drop!!!! ( Street hawker is very dirty and unhygenic pls do not consume it) do some research you will not regeret... Trust me (you will find a lot of caucassian live there too) have nice trip! Good luck!

You can choose to work and live in Malaysia. Weather there is always wondeful. People are friendly and hospitable. Cost of living is relatively cheap. From Malaysia you have the whole country and the countries around the pacific rim to explore. Try it, I am sure you will like it there.

If america is not good enough for you, I wish you well. Unless of course you're stating your lament from some lesser than the USA country, then just come on in illegally like everyone else does to live in the land of the free.
