im trying to install a 2ch amp in my car with 2 kicker subs....i had a 4ch amp before and had baught a 4ch rca plug for them can i use it for my 2ch amp? whats the diffrence between the 4ch and 2ch rca cables ...arn't they both supposed to work? on either or? when i plug in the amp i my sub sounds like its have a whole bunch of vibrations...what am i doing wrong..its been so long since i;ve installed an amp....i have the ground ..12+ and remote all hooked up the right way...the rca plugs are color cordinated// can any body help me?

RCA cables are all the same with the exception that some are better shielded than others.

The best in the world are the ones that are for coaxial audio signals. All they really are is shielded RCA connectors on RG-6 caoxial cable. If your handy with soldering, these are fairly easy to make.

you can hook up two speaker or 4. or two amps .2ch hook it up to your main receiver which is your main dash unit and run the other end to your amp input. the vibration could be your spekers wiring try and bridge your subs or get some crossovers.

best is tell the shop owner selling the rca cables your situation and ask for their advice.
