How come women are more attracted to men who slap them around or treat them like crap? But yet a man who's willing to treat them with the respect they deserve comes along,
they are not interested. I'm a man in every sense of the word,but when I see things like that....it makes me wonder if WHY women settle for men like that.

maybe that woman you're talking about is just in love so much and can not afford to leave the man even though he is hurting her. sometimes love is stupid! =D

It is sad but some women are attracted to men who are bad for them. They don't know they are doing this. They often break off the relationship, only to find another bad boy right away.
Women learn how to be treated by men when they are adolescents. The role of the father is to pamper his little girl and make her feel like a little princess. If a young girl has an emotionally distant father, or worse yet, an abusive one, they subconsiously find men that remind them of their fathers.
You are no doubt a wonderful man with great intentions. Some women will never recognize how good you could be for them.
It is something that is tied in with low self-esteem. Watch out!
These women will drain you financially and emotionally needing more and more evidence of "love", when in fact, they feel most comfortable around the type of men they should avoid.

I'm interested in guys who treat me with respect. The women you're talking about are idiots. I would NEVER settle for a man that slapped me around and treated me like crap. EVER.

No, No, No! women do not like to be treated like crap just that women you are talking and obviously like and am sure she doesn't like it eighther but doesn't know how to get out so this is were you come in a respectable man comes along and shows her the way to a new life abuse free.

I know exactly what you mean. I have friends who are like that and its like they think the man really proves their love by treating them that way. And I have also seen women turn down men who treat them like queens. I am sorry I dont have an answer but I think some women just crave drama.

I don't think it's that women like men like that better. I think that women who find themselves in that situation get scared to leave because they are intimidated by the man who is hurting them. Also, men like that have a way of making the woman feel like she is obligated to stay. He degrades her and makes her feel like she is worth very little.
I assume you are asking because you know somebody in this situation. All you can do is try to make her see her worth. Compliment her and try to make her feel strong again. Stand by her and let her know that you are just a phone call away so that when and if that time comes that she needs somebody to hold her hand she will lean on you.

I know exactly what your talking about dude ive seen and had a few friends exact situation but they wouldnt leave it comes down with the mental and physical abuse it puts a fear and a depresion that they will never have anybody else and there worthless all that but alot of the eventually will get out of it but not until they break that circle and if you know someone like that all you can do is be her friend and try your damndest to get her to realize and leave him

Those women have very low self esteem...and that abuse usually stems from the way their father treated their mother. But these girls are not anyone you'd ever want to date.
There are girls out there that are single, genuinely nice, sincere, sweet, intelligent, and have a high self esteem. You just need to look for them. (kind of rare these days). Believe me...lol.
But don't give up.
