well i asked her out and she said i'll think about it and then after a week her friends told me she said no. But after that whole thing she began to be really shy around me and we don't really talk anymore. she looks at me alot during class and looks away when i look. did she say no to hide that she liked me? she also trys to get my attention alot. i'm just not sure what to think anymore. does she like me?i've also been ignoring her lately. what should i do now?

She may just not be ready for a relationship but still likes you. Maybe she is also just too shy. I don't think you should ask her out again because if she says no again that would be embarrasing. How long has it been? You should wait a while before trying again. Personally, I think she has a crush on you but you can never be sure. She may just not like you at all and that is why she is ignoring you. STOP IGNORING HER! Talk to her. Hope this helps a bit.

You're doing the right thing. Ignoring her is making her pay more attention,. I'm assuming you're young and in school; girls at that age are fickle and have no clue what they want. If you really like her then be aloof and don't play into her games. Next time you catch her starring say What? and let her know you're aware of the situation. Unfortunately the rumors are true, the more you act like a challenge the more she'll take you up on it.

Go to her! Find out from her what's going on. I hate the friend said thing. She may really like you and is shy or embarassed around her friends. Get her alone. She will tell you then. Good Luck:)

I don't think she likes you.. but the whole starring thing I have totally done that when a guy has told me he likes me and you don't feel the same way you look at them to see if you like them and whats attractive about them.. the shy thing is more like akward like she knnows you like her but she rejected you.. and you ignoring her bothersher because she wants you to still pay attention to her no girl ever wants a guy to stop liking her

Try asking again. Girls change there mind alot. Maybe after shes thought about it, now she likes you. It wont hurt to try again.

it sounds like she's at least curious to know what it would be like to go out w/ you....
but im thinking her friends are holding her back....
perhaps you should go up and ask her again when she's alone...or give her a note asking her....and tell her to answer honestly whether or not she wants to go out...
that you don't want to hear it from her friends again.

No. 3, although she has turned you down, she is trying to be the centre of attention.
