Have any of you out there had dish soap put in your mouth for cursing? When I was about 11 my older sister, whom at the time was 18, and I had a big argument. During the argument I cursed her out. She then hauled me over to the kitchen sink and grabbed the bottle of Palmolive. She put me in a headlock and forced some of that horrible stuff in my mouth. When she let go of me I ran in the bathroom and tried to rinse it out of my mouth but by adding more water it made the soap foam up more and taste worse. When my mother came home I told her right away what happened and she smiled and said "good". We all laugh about this incident now but at the time I wasn't laughing at all.

Yep!!!
But i soon learned to bite into bread and then spit it out. Water just doesn't work to clean it out.

Or I would smash bread on the roof of my mouth if I knew it was coming. My mother caught me one time when I bit into a bar of soap and the bread came off onto the bar when she took the bar out. she laughed so hard and told me if I was so smart to do that then i should be smart enough not to curse.....

Yes, I'm pretty sure I did. Just a little dab on the tongue, not a headlock forcefeed. It was nontoxic and it made me think twice about the words I used. I'm not scarred for life or anything. I once heard a horror story about a mom making her kid drink a cupful of laundry detergent. That would be truly awful.

I think I had to drink a spoonful of vinegar once. I liked it. Weird...

I think that what your sister did to you is far worse than any curse words you used against her. Cursing and insulting people isn't good behaviour, but neither is physically forcing non food items into someones mouth!

When I was 8 but it was the bar soap my mom did. It didn't work so they didn't use that method anymore. :) Instead they took my tv away for a week and everything they could possibly think of....including my books. I learned pretty quick. I would have probably not learned, but they took away my books *LOL*.
