When she sits in it I get angry and hound her until she gets out. I take every oppertunity to sneak back into it, when she goes to get a snack, go to the bathroom, I even once lifted her out when she was asleep and folded her up in one of the single seaters. If she refuses to get out and is angry I stand in front of her so she cant watch her fave show. She goes to bed, slams the door, pushes the book case in front and I have to sleep on my lovely lounge. This is the only thing I demand in the whole relationship, I let her get away with much more so why can't she just let me have my baby chair. I let her sit next to me in winter under a rug and we cuddle up but in summer it is too hot to sit on their together. Who thinks im out of line and who thinks I am right?

P.S. the winner of the argument is based on your answers

I think your girlfriend is jealous of your chair...lol Why does she have to sit in yours when there are others? I have my favorite chair too...and my kids know just to get up...when they see I'm coming in. Tell her your "I'm right, your wrong...period, the end."

Ok… What you need to do…

You need a middle ground JUST like the toilet seat.
What I would suggest is this. Ask her if there is something she finds nice about the chair or is it the spot it’s located in?

If it is the spot then switch the chair with another one in the room.

If it is the chair itself then you need to take a weekend and find her one of her own. If she wants the old one, then you buy one for yourself and give her that one.

Women just love control.. It’s all about training the man to take orders.

Personally, I would pull the same stunt she does. If she does not move out of the chair. Go to the bedroom. Put the bookcase in front of the door and let her sleep on the couch.

I think your girlfriend is immature. I think you might go about it in a nicer way though. She probably has other issues with you besides the chair and it is just being used as the scapegoat. Think about it for a while and I am sure you will figure it out.

I understand you perfectly. If this is the only thing you argue about she should know better than to sit in your chair.

Guy needs his chair. Everyone should have thier own seat in thier own home.. I've got mine. Only time anyone ever sits in mine is when i'm not home.
