Hi there, I just laugh about my past 3 years of panic now. I was not able to go anywhere without carrying xanax. Fear of having another attack was the most important subject of my days.When i first found joe barry's web site i started to cry because of my happiness.

exercise...it can relieve all the things you spoke of. it releases endorphins (chemicals in the brain found to be lacking when you are feeling depressed, stressed, anxious, etc). hope this helps. give it a try...

Long walks, playing, journalling, drawing or painting or any kind of artistic expression, playing a musical instrument, martial arts.

Reading, writing, walking and sports work the best for me. Some even cook and clean. (Though I think that may be stressful heh.)

medications, sit in a quite room close your eyes empty your mind of all thoughts start thinking at your toes thinking relax your toes slowly move your mind to your knees relaxing your knees then your upper legs, and on and on.until you get to your head . works sometimes late at night for me. talk to friends. listen to really loud music.

swimming is the best way for me.. also driving around with good music on the radio and a good friend willing to listen..
