Kenwood, higher RMS watts 60 compared to 50 for the clarion, that is more important than max watts. RMS is the continous output of the speaker. Also a 4-way wont make much more (at least not noticable) differance than a 3-way if you listen to loud music, or anything other than music with really high notes.

The most important thing you could do is go to a store and actually listen to them. Higher RMS ratings doesn't necessarily mean better sound. One of them might be too bright for your taste or be too mellow. One of them might crackle at a given frequency and the other might not. You wont 'know until you listen to them and know what they sound like. You might even find a set of speakers that you like other than those two.
