It sounds like you may be having some problems with the facets in your back. They are part of the vertebrae that run down your spine and they can become irritated or may lock up from bending and twisting in certain individuals. To prevent future problems try bending your knees when bending instead of just bending your torso over. Also when you are lifting heavy objects tighten your core, and dont lift and twist at the same time, do the actions one after the other. Hope this helps.

You may have a slipped or herniated disc, which means you may be developing back problems. However, once diagnosed by a doctor through MRI's or X-Ray's this problem could eventually be treated and reversed through exercises, medicines diet and exercise. The plan for treatment all depends on the diagnosis, but the prognosis could be fair to good. Go see your doctor to determine exactly what the problem is. Who knows, you could be pulling a muscle that you didn't even know about, it could be something that simple. Good luck.

You could have a pinched nerve or a slipped disk. My suggestion would be to see your doctor first and then a chiropractor if your insurance covers it. I've been in a severe car accident that tore 5 of my 7 cervical ligaments. I was treated by a chiropractor and it has worked wonders for my neck pain.

yeah that is a problem with me too. im 35 and have lower back pain due from excessive standing/lifting at job. a chirpractor is a good way to get help without any drugs or medical doctors. it sounds creepy at first-but it works!! the chiropractor will adjust your spine and back so it alligns properly. the cracking is due to air . it doesnt hurt..it actaully releases tention.

is it like the stabbing sharp pain where you have to hold your breath for a second until it goes away? if it is everyone gets it occasionally, it has all been explained to me in the past, but i forget the whole reasoning behind it, but i remember the important part, its normal.
