kinda depends on how long the relationship lasted n how close or strong you guys were... at some level u never do get over it but if ur lucky u mite find someone better n more suited for u.. in the meantime jus try to keep urself busy with normal everyday activities...dont be in a rush to get over someone ... give it time... like they say time heals all wounds..... so yeah have faith in urself n things always have a way of workin out for the best.... good luckkk :)

First, cut off all contact. You can be friends after a break-up, but not during a break-up. Then, find some new things to do. Take up a hobby. Take a class. Go out with your friends. Do something different. Stay busy. And, if all else fails, eat ice cream.

You wake up every morning telling yourself you are better than he is and keep the faith. And when it gets lonely at night read a book or watch a movie until you fall asleep. After a while you will get over it. Be strong and go in peace.

I'm trying to figure out the same thing.
However, I recall from previous experience that eventually the pain does go away.
You may always think about that person; but you do get over the pain and the longing.
