how do i get rid of Earthlink?

Question

it came on my new Dell laptop, i've deleted (1) with add/remove programs and (2) deleting from Programs folder.
it still pops up annoyingly when i open up.
can't find it in Startup after running msconfig

Try using hijackthis...Remember to reboot after deleting entries or they won't be properly removed!

The easiest way to "know" what should be removed and what shouldn't be is using the Hijackthis Log and let it tell you what's good and bad...if you're not sure, then don't delete the entry.

you must get rid of it. I had tech-support hell. I cannot tell you how many times I spoke to Ahpu - who was no help and not intelligible most of the time. I would goto the C: prompt and type in del.*.exe!
