Tonsils out and playing trumpet?

Anyone play trumpet and have their tonsils out? I am having mine out in April and have a few weddings to play. How long till you were able to play again and did it affect the air flow/range?

Getting nervous about this....

I had my wisdom teeth out, (not quite the same) and that only stopped me for about 2 weeks
