I was born in Kerala and past 25 years, we (I & my parents) are settled in Goa. I have a Birth certificate which was issued to me at the time of birth, but for civil regitration in Goa I require newly issued birth certificate which valid for few months and for marriage purpose only. To whom I have to contact? and what are the testimonials required? Please help!

You can approach the Registrar of birth and death in your Taluk (where it is registered). You have to submit an application affixing a court fee stamp. There is no other formalities. They may charge you nominal fee for that.

There is nothing like new birth certificate for marriage purpose. You have to go to your place of birth for certificate of birth. If your birth is registered, you can get certificate of birth. Date of issue to BC has no importance. Late regn. of birth is permissbile. For regn. of marriage, you can produce certificate of education.
