People tend to misconstrue what "religious folks" say. Just because they differ with anothers views doesn't mean that they are being judgemental. The problem is, those who are "offended" want acceptance. When the "religious folk" refuse to accept them, the natural defense is to claim that they are being "judgemental". It's just a falling on ones own sword tactic to draw a pity party.
I don't compromise my values or my beliefs because I'm afraid of "offending" someone. And if they deem me judgemental, so be it.

Because this is a BS statement.
We must make all kinds of judgements.
1. We must judge a persons character to know if we want them as a friend or lover.
2. We must judge a company to know if we want to work for them.
3. We must judge a religion to know if we want to be associated with it.
4. We must judge a God to know what we will think of such a being.
Clearly we must judge many things perhaps the message was meant to be don't be closed minded. However the religious are very closed minded! They only see what the preacher tells them they see. When will they start to look with their own eyes?

People love to use part of the Bible, but not the whole. Christians are asked later to judge other Christians, to help them follow God's teachings. Picture it as a basketball team. They have no business telling some street game what they are doing wrong, but they should be correcting their own team mates in order to have a great team. This doesn't mean they agree that the street game is being played correctly. Far from it. But they just haven't joined the team yet. It would be better for Christians to say, "Come as you are. But we will all be trying to be more like Christ."

First? I'm sure you know that non-religious folks do plenty of judging also. I've seen enough of that. But if people are being hypocrites, I make no excuses for that. They shouldn't judge. But at least be fair and acknowledge that non-religious people do the same.

When it depends on what you call judging. I agree that they are a lot of judgemental people here but there are also those just offering an opinion and perhaps insight into situation. But yes judgement of others is wrong and we should be careful not to do so.

Jesus was judged himself by the Jewish leaders of his day and put to death just because he admitted to them that he was the son of God. Some are worried that if some one else is right that would make them wrong just as they were back then.

Is judging disagreeing? I often wonder why people think so. To me it clearly states do not think yourself above another.

Your question is redundant in that you judge while questioning judging.
I think you see sarcasm and rhetoric when you ask questions that are obviously flippant.
I try to answer all questions that are reasoned and clear with cogent responses.
