With just 4 days to go for my son to be born if he is on time and not late (hopeing to be here early or on time) I am looking for others who have nf or any gentic or non gentic disabilty. With young children or older children to add to my messenger if they wish just to talk on issues of raising a kid when your disabled. And raising a kid who could be disabled them self. Please no rude remarks on this

I'm hoping your son doesn't have NF, at all. I have NF and it's no fun having it. Neither one of my parents or my siblings have it, but from what we've heard, a very distant cousin of my mom's, may have had it.

Did they give you a prenatal test to see if the baby has NF1 or NF2?

There is support groups..Have you found a good forum yet?

I would keep asking on here for others with Disability's to talk with. Without medical knowledge most would not know what NF is, so i would be more generic.

Good luck hun and Congrats.

For those who want to know what NF is

I don't know what NF is and the friend of mine it is not a genetic disorder but she is a paraplegic. She never even thought she could get pregnant once let alone twice. And she is a single mom. I don't know how that compares to your situation. But maybe it will encourage you. i wish you the best of luck and hope all turns out well.
