Okay, I have had acne to varying degrees throughout my life. Now at age 28 I finally have things under control, but it was emabrassing and difficult when I was younger, and now I regret popping any zits because I do have scars. Here is what I have learned:
Popping does cause scars that last forever unless you pay for expensive laser therapy. So don't pop. If you absolutely must pop, it is better to wait for the oil to rise all the way to the top, then after you do it, put a vanishing cream on it, or some neosporin, or both, to help the break in your skin heal.
Excessive washing can worsen the situation. Use a face soap (not a bar body soap), like Olay facial cleanser for sensitive skin. Wash once in the morning, and once at night.
Generic vanishing cream is inexpensive, and works if you use it twice a day after washing, but use it regularly until the pimple is gone. You apply the vansihing cream to the pimple only, not all over the whole face.
The most important thing is to keep your hands away from your face. Don't pick, rub, or touch at all!! Don't even lean your face on your hand propping up your head. Bad idea. This causes break-outs.
Good luck.

Instructions
* STEP 1: Resist the urge to attack when these plugged sebaceous glands pop up. In other words, don't pop your pimples'this can cause infections and even scarring.
* STEP 2: Keep in mind that a combination of hormonal activity, a buildup of bacteria and the shedding of dead skin cells causes pimples. Do what you can to prevent a breakout by establishing a skin-care routine appropriate for your skin type.
* STEP 3: Have patience. It could take up to one month for a blemish to disappear completely. The less you poke at it, the better.
* STEP 4: Buy an antibacterial, oil-free concealer that can blend the redness of the pimple into your own skin color. Green shades tend to offset redness the best. (This might not be an option for those who don't wear makeup.)
* STEP 5: Try a facial mud mask. This may shrink a pimple.
* STEP 6: Realize that despite the happy teens in the commercials, 'zit zapping' solutions'medications you apply directly to pimples'don't do much more than dry out the top layer of skin covering the pimples. These medications don't provide a long-term cure.
* STEP 7: If you are going to break the rules by 'extracting the blemish''aesthetician-speak for popping your pimple'wash your hands, then lightly squeeze the top of the pimple with a tissue or cotton swab. Clean the area thoroughly when you're done. If nothing happens, leave the pimple alone until it's ready to pop.
* STEP 8: Apply a benzol peroxide acne medication to the pimple and avoid applying medication to the surrounding area.
Tips & Warnings
* If you're desperate (you get an unsightly blemish two days before your wedding, perhaps), consult a dermatologist about receiving a shot of cortisone to eliminate a pimple.
* Pimples can indicate the presence of acne, a chronic skin disease. If you have recurring pimples, talk to a dermatologist about acne medication. Your dermatologist may prescribe antibiotics, certain brands of birth control pills, or even Accutane for severe acne.
* Consider carefully before using Accutane. Although this is the only truly long-term solution for severe acne, it can have serious side effects and is known to cause serious birth defects when taken during pregnancy. Sexually active women who use Accutane should use two forms of birth control.

Push ice on it - If you feel a pimple coming on, put a piece of ice in a sandwich bag and press the ice firmly on the pimple until you feel it getting to cold. Wait about 20-40 seconds. Keep doing this until you feel the pimple getting flatter.

I dont suggest you try this.... when i was younger like 13 i think, i had some pimples all over my face, my first real breakout. well i went to wash my face before bed as i usually do,but we were out of the hand soap. I thought i was using my dad's lava soap, its a little green bar of soap and its very abrasive, but instead i used a bar of soap my mom left up there after she washed the cat. It was horrible, but it cleared my face. I would not use it though because there are chemicals that could harm your eyes in it... just htought it was amusing and would share it with you. If you pop them and put toothpaste on them it willl help, thats just a home rememdy.

okay, one thing I would suggest would be to use a mild cleanser on your face 2-3 times a day, then after you wash your face, moisten a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol and smooth it over your face until you don't see much oil and/or dirt left on your face. Then put on some non-greasy moisturizer so your skin doesn't get dried out too badly.
The alcohol is good for acne prone skin because it kills the bacteria on your face and helps clean out your pores, which helps prevent pimples from forming. And don't pop pimples because it can cause scarring.

You can just go for Dove soap. It works very well and you feel the difference very soon. There are three flavours in it If the pimples are more go for Dove Medicare(it is green in color in the Cover),or if it is medium go for Dove Cream soap (Dark Blue color appearance in cover) and if it has started go for Dove(Sky Blue color in its cover). All the three soaps are of same price . Rs.35/- for big piece and Rs.27/-for Small one. But I bet it really works. But you must now check for pimples immediately after first wash, it takes minimum of three to seven days.
Do not pop it up, because it increases, my doctor told me that the pimple (internally) follows with three stems(pimples) and when you pop it up these stems scatter immideatly and pimples scatterr fast, so my advice is DO NOT pop up the pimples.

It is NOT safe to pop it.If you pop it, it will leave scars behind and behold, she'd better not complain about scars if she pops them.
It is simple to get rid of them.Drink more water, eat more fruits and vegetables and you'll get nice results.
You can try Nuetrogena or Biore. When I was growing up I didn't really have pimples till 11 and I got 1 tiny pimple on my nose.I used Biore and I got rid of it. Right now,my face is pimple-free.
Clearasil?Oh,I won't really believe that it can be guarenteed. It depends on how you clean your face.
Pimples come out when you are growing up and you don't clean your face properly. When you don't clean your face properly, the sweat and sebum comes on and you STILL don't clean your face, yes, you develop pimples.
When you develop pimples, use pimple cream or face cleaners AND DON'T pop it, Don't put on makeup, DON'T rub your face after you rinsed your face. Pat your face dry GENTLY and eat more fruits and vegetables and drink more water and guala, you'll see how pimple-free is your daughter(just like me!)

Popping them, will only damage the skin and may cause scaring.
You may want to see a dermatologist if it's a bad case, but if it's one or two, then just keep washing your face and find a product with Benzoyl Peroxide in it I got my from my dermatologist with is by script and it has 5% Benzoyl Peroxide. It's a creamy wash that I apply for 5 minutes then wash off 2 times a day.

Do not pop pimples this will cause permanent scarring of the face. Scrub, Scrub, Scrub. an astringent such as Sea Breeze will help to dry out the acess oils in the face. Clerasil is over rated. Any good facial soap will do a better job. I suggest Neutragena face cleanser to clean and then apply Sea Breeze.
