It's possible, but not very likely.

You will learn as you get older that the whole "soul-mate" thing is ridiculous. The idea of "the one" is silly. There are probably several people that a person can be compatible with. It's more so a matter of timing and effort than anything else. Everyone has deal-breakers and deal-makers and, bottom line, we pick someone who has most of what we're looking for and we do our best to make it work. As for your friend, it's probably puppy-love. She's probably never experienced any feelings like this before and so she's concluding that they're the end all, be all of love. They're not. She's young. She'll look back, most likely, and laugh. She's too young to even know what she wants out of life, to even know herself, so it's highly unlikely that she and her "soul-mate" will be together forever.

with billions of people in this world. And only a few likly to be your soulmates. What is the odds of finding one in your high school ? Well that is likly around 1 in a billion I would say. Then again what could a freshman high school girl know about life and love and soulmates ? This Sounds like puppy love to me !

Meet a billion people then decide if this one guy is your soulmate . Or at least travel for awhile and meet a few hundred different guys from other towns at least ,then learn about life and figure it out beyond a dought. If someone is your soulmate linked in spirit mind and heart. It may take some experience in life and meeting others to compare thoughts and feelings about to figure that out for certain .

Odds are unlikly this is the one of her few soulmates though.
All of our soulamtes are out there somewhere though. The world is a huge place and we would all like to have found someone so close in a lifetime .To be with always .

Anything is possible, but unfortunately it could likely be just a young woman being overly romantic. One of my friends did marry the man she started dating in high school, and they have been happily married for 20 years and together for 28. It can happen.

85% of the people you date in high school you will NOT marry. statistics say that girls will fall in "love" 5-8 times before finding her soul mate, and for guys, they fall in love 3-5 times. so its possible, but not likely. love is the closest thing humans can get to magic, but if she gets too caught up into it, she may make a decision that she is not ready for

She doesn't know what she is talking about. She sounds like any other freshmen who will have another boyfriend next year.

maybe and maybe not. Most teens and some people in their early to mid twentys are only infatuated with eachother they don't have a clue.
