The mother is a Chihuahua / Beagle mix I know.... But what the heck could the daddy be? The Momma is only about 12 pounds!

looks like a lab to me,but I dont think a lab could have mated with a dog that small - if you go to www.puppyfind.com
or www.akc.org
both sites list all the different breeds and pictures - so you might be able to match up something close

Hard to know at this age, all puppies look pretty much the same at birth. They look mostly Beagle right now, but I'm guessing they're 6 weeks or less? You won't really know for sure until sometime between 3 and 6 months how they'll turn out. Awful cute though : )
Where there is a will, there is a way. I've seen some weird crosses: husky/pug, labrador/dachshund, Pit Bull/Collie......they're all the same species so you could even cross a Great Dane and Chihuahua,but I wouldn't recommend it.

The puppy is very cute! I would say Beagle x Lab or Lab cross. Like most people have said; you won't be able to tell by markings, color etc. until the pup is around 4-6 month old.

I'd say a lab or pit. Hard to tell with puppies, damn near impossible with mutts *i use the term affectionately. take no offense*. When it is a mixed breed it is a wild card. It can be almost anything. But that's my favorite kind of mutt. The kind of mutt that's so mixed up you couldn't guess it's lineage if it was really that important to you, and if you have mutts, my guess is that it isn't. It's the puppy that's important, not necissarily the parents.

Hi Peach, It could be a miniature poodle, corgie they are small dogs and real cute. It could be anything since you don't know what the daddy was. Sometimes the vet is good on knowing the breeds. You might want to try that. Good Luck. A Friend.

A lab? It is really hard to tell when they're puppies. You will be able to really tell in a couple of months. All puppies look alike.

Gosh it sure does look like a lab to me lol!! Dont know how they could have mated lol but thats what it looks like to me cuz I have a lab.
